{mosgoogle}HardOCP has posted a review of the ASUS A8R-MVP Motherboard. The A8R-MVP supports AMD 939-pin Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processor with 1MB x2 or 512KB x2 L2 cache which is based on 64-bit architecture. It features better multithreaded / multitasking performance than Athlon 64 FX / Athlon 64. Here's a clip from the review:
I had a great time overclocking this motherboard. I was able to push to solid synchronized 270MHz CPU bus speed while maintain a stable 540MHz memory bus. This was the upper end allowed by the RAM which was Corsair PC4400Pro (2x1GB). Pulling back on our RAM frequency allowed me to further scale the CPU bus up to a stable 300MHz. I have seen reports of higher CPU bus speeds, but 300MHz was the ceiling for us. Our 4800+ could be pushed to the mid-2.5GHz range which is par for the course with our CPU.
