{mosgoogle}HardwareZoom has a new review posted on the Gigabyte GA-G1975X G1-Turbo (Intel 975X chipset).

Designed specifically for extreme overclockers and hardcore gamers, the Gigabyte G1-Turbo combine the best from Intel & Gigabyte. Featuring the latest Intel? 975X Express chipset, it support the latest Intel Pentium Dualcore & Extreme Edition with up to 1066Mhz FSB. The new 975X chipset is similiar to the 955X but now with offical support for dual PCI-E graphic cards for maximum gaming performance.

To boost the system performance further, Gigabyte has put in lots of effort to improve overclockability and experience. The proprietary Turbojet technology helps to remove heat generated by the CPU, north bridge and memory with four 40mm fans. Also featuring other well-known overclocking technologies from GIGABYTE, such as: C.I.A. 2, M.I.B. 2, EasyTune5, and the latest C.R.S. (CMOS Reload Switch).

Audio performance is another main concern for gamers, the G1-Turbo has an integrated Creative Sound Blaster Live 24-bit hardware audio controller, to provide 7.1 channel surround effects with DTS support. Other on-board features include : Dual Channel DDR2 888, Dual PCI-E x4 slots, Gigabit LAN, Firewire, four 3Gb/s SATA ports with RAID, six USB 2.0 ports, DualBIOS, Debug LED & power-on switch.
